Itai Sobol was born in 1976 in Tel Aviv. He studied piano and composition at the Rubin Academy of Music (Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude), as well as jazz piano and composition at the Rimon school and the Hochschule f?r Musik in Cologne, Germany. Among his teachers were Pnina Salzman, Yaron Gottfried, Amir Fedorovich, John Taylor, Klaus Oldemeyer, and Johannes Fritsch.
